ice cream takes skill.
At Sweet Science Ice Cream, we start with locally sourced and organic ingredients. We combine them perfectly in small batches, creating one-of-a-kind flavors. We make our ice cream base and every syrup, cookie, swirl and crunch by hand in our St. Paul kitchen.
WHAT WE PUT IN OUR ICE CREAM.
WHAT WE DON'T
Organic, grass-fed cow’s milk and nothing else. We source our milk and cream from organic suppliers that are rBST free and who hold high standards of sustainability and quality of life for the animals.
Organic sugar is expensive. Most ice cream makers don’t use it because of its complicated cooking properties and high cost. We feel it’s worth it to put in the extra work and apply a little science.
We’re a small business in St. Paul, Minnesota. And we’d love connecting with other local businesses. So we strive to source locally grown or manufactured ingredients whenever possible. It’s not always easy, and it’s often not the cheapest route, but it’s something we believe in.
High-fructose corn syrup - Yup. We don’t like it either. That's why you'll never find this, or anything else unnatural in our ice creams.
We don’t add anything we can’t pronounce--never any artificial colors, flavors or additives. After all, it’s not rocket science.
